With Manual Therapy, You Can Get To The Actual Problem, Even If Nobody Has Found It Yet.

Cupping, scraping and trigger point work, with heat and vibration to reach what hands alone cannot. Read in real time by a specialist rather than followed off a script, so we work the tissue that is causing the pain instead of the place you feel it.

Why Is This DifferentFrom Everything Else?

Where it hurts is rarely where it started.

So we hunt for the tissue actually creating your pain, which is often nowhere near where you feel it.

Every session is built for your body.

So what we do in minute twenty comes from what we found in minute five, never from a sequence we run on everyone.

Cupping lifts instead of pressing.

So tension that will not answer to thumbs and elbows finally has somewhere to go.

Heat and vibration get us deeper.

So we reach the layer underneath with less pressure, and you brace against it far less.

You have been treating where it hurts. We go after why it hurts.
Those are almost never the same place.

Here's How It Works

Specialist assessing the area by hand before treating 01

We find it by hand

Before any tool comes out we work through the area and track the pain back to where it actually starts.

Cupping and scraping tools used during manual therapy 02

We pick the right tool

Cupping, scraping or trigger point, chosen for what your tissue is doing rather than a set routine.

Client retesting the movement after manual therapy 03

You move it again

We recheck the movement that hurt at the start, so the change is something you feel rather than hear about.

Which Tool Does What?

No jargon. Here is what each one actually does and how it feels.

Cupping

Suction lifts the tissue away from what is underneath it, rather than pressing it down. That decompression is what eases tension a thumb cannot reach.

Best for
Broad, held tension across a muscle
What it feels like
A firm pull, then release

Answered Before You Ask.

What is manual therapy?
Manual therapy is hands-on work on the muscle, fascia and soft tissue that is limiting how you move. At World of Motion that includes cupping, scraping with a smooth-edged tool, and trigger point work, with heat and vibration applied through the tool to reach deeper. Your specialist reads what your body is doing in real time and adjusts as they go.
How is this different from a massage?
A massage generally follows a routine and works to relax you. Manual therapy is targeted. We are looking for the specific tissue causing your problem, and the techniques and pressure change based on what we find under our hands.
Does it hurt?
You will feel it, particularly on trigger point work, and most people describe it as a deep ache that then releases rather than sharp pain. You set the pressure with us and we adjust it throughout.
What is cupping?
Suction cups placed on the skin lift the tissue upward instead of pressing it down. That decompression eases tension and supports circulation in the area. It is a longstanding technique that athletes across every sport rely on.
Will cupping leave marks?
It can leave circular marks in the area treated. They are not bruises in the usual sense and they typically fade within a few days. Tell us if you have an event coming up and we will plan around it.
What is scraping, or IASTM?
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation. A smooth-edged tool is worked along the muscle and fascia to free up tissue that has stuck together. We add heat and vibration through the tool, which lets us get deeper with less pressure.
What is trigger point therapy?
Sustained pressure applied to the specific knot causing your pain. Trigger points often refer pain elsewhere, which is why the sore spot is frequently not the source. We find the source rather than chasing the symptom.
How long is a session?
Manual therapy fits inside a 60-minute visit and is often combined with assisted stretching, focal vibration or the AlterG in the same appointment. Your specialist will suggest the mix based on what you need.
How often should I come?
Once or twice a week while you are working through something, then less often to maintain it. Riders in competition season often keep a standing weekly slot.
Should I do this before or after riding?
Either works and they do different things. Before, it helps you move more freely. After, it helps you recover. Tell us your schedule and we will time it to suit.
Is there anyone who should not have this?
Let us know before booking if you take blood thinners, have a clotting disorder, have an open wound, infection or recent fracture in the area, or are pregnant. None of these are automatic no's, but we will work it out with you or your physician first.
How much does it cost?
A full session is $250 for 60 minutes, and new members get their first one at half price, $125. Here is the part worth understanding: you are paying for the session, not the service. Most clients stack two or three things into the same hour, so hands-on work plus assisted stretching plus focal vibration costs the same as the hands-on work alone. Memberships bring the per-session rate down further and include exclusive content and services.

One Session Tells You Everything.

$125 for your first session. Let someone find the thing nobody else has found.
