Why Is This DifferentFrom Everything Else?

It removes up to 80% of your body weight.

So the walking your knee refuses on pavement becomes comfortable in about ninety seconds.

Load adjusts in fine increments, live.

So progress becomes a number you can chase instead of a vague "take it easy."

A screen shows your stride as you move.

So the limp you stopped noticing years ago gets spotted and coached out in real time.

The whole machine travels to you.

So a forty-minute session costs you forty minutes, not half a day of driving.

It was never movement that hurt you. It was load.
Take the load off, and the movement is fine.

Answered Before You Ask.

What is the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill?
The AlterG is a treadmill built around a sealed air chamber that zips around your waist. The chamber inflates and lifts a precise percentage of your body weight, so you can walk or run at anywhere from 20% to 100% of what you actually weigh. The technology came out of NASA research and is now used by hospitals, professional sports teams and rehabilitation clinics.
Does it hurt?
No. Most people describe it as walking on air or feeling years younger. The whole point is that movement which hurts on the ground becomes comfortable, because most of the impact has been removed. If anything feels wrong, your specialist adjusts the load immediately.
How much weight can it take off me?
Up to 80%. That means if you weigh 200 pounds, you can walk at the equivalent of 40 pounds. The load adjusts in fine increments, so as you get stronger your specialist can add weight back a little at a time rather than jumping straight to full load.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, and it varies by model. Contact us with your details before booking and we will confirm whether the unit suits you. We would rather tell you up front than have you arrive and find out it is not a fit.
Do I need a referral or a doctor's note?
No referral is needed to book. If you are recovering from surgery or managing a medical condition, we do recommend clearing new activity with your physician first, and we may ask for written clearance before certain sessions.
How soon after surgery can I use it?
That is a decision for your surgeon, not for us. Many clients are cleared for partial weight bearing well before they can walk normally, which is exactly the window where the AlterG is most useful. Bring your clearance and we will build around it.
What do I wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in, and trainers. You will also wear a pair of shorts that zip into the air chamber, which we provide. Bring water.
How long is an AlterG session?
Typically 30 to 45 minutes on the treadmill within a 60-minute visit, which leaves room to combine it with stretching, manual therapy or focal vibration in the same session.
Do you really bring it to my barn?
Yes. The AlterG travels inside our air-conditioned mobile unit along with the rest of our equipment. We need roughly the space of four standard parking spots on level ground. We serve Marion County and cities within 20 miles of the World Equestrian Center.
How much does it cost?
A full session is $250 for 60 minutes, and new members get their first one at half price, $125. Here is the part worth understanding: you are paying for the session, not the service. Most clients stack two or three things into the same hour, so time on the AlterG plus assisted stretching plus hands-on work costs the same as the AlterG alone. Memberships bring the per-session rate down further and include exclusive content and services.
How often should I use it?
Most clients come once or twice a week. Your specialist will recommend a rhythm based on your goal, your stage of recovery and your competition schedule.
Can I use it if I am not injured?
Absolutely. Riders and runners use it to add training volume without adding impact, so they can work hard without paying for it the next day. It is as much a performance tool as a rehabilitation one.

One Session Tells You Everything.

$125. Step in, take 40% of your weight off, and know within ten minutes.
