With Assisted Stretching, You Can Move Freely Again, Even If Stretching Never Works.

A specialist moves you into range your own body will not allow, because the muscle doing the stretching cannot also be the one holding you there. So the hips that lock by the third ride open up, and you feel it the next time you sit down in the saddle.

Assisted stretching session with World of Motion in Ocala, Florida

Why Is This DifferentFrom Everything Else?

It reaches range you cannot get to.

So you open angles your own body physically will not let you find, no matter how long you hold a stretch.

You cannot relax and hold yourself at the same time.

So a specialist takes over the holding, your muscle finally stops gripping, and the stretch actually lands.

We work the chain, not the spot.

So the tightness stops coming back next week, because we open what was pulling on it in the first place.

You feel it before you leave.

So you stand up taller and move easier the same day, not three weeks into a programme.

You are not too tight to stretch. You are just doing it alone.
That is the part we change.

Here's How It Works

Specialist checking a client's range of motion before stretching 01

We find your real range

Before anything else we see how far each joint actually goes, so we know what we are working with.

Assisted stretch in progress with the client relaxed 02

You relax, we move you

Three passes on each area, going a little deeper each time. All you do is breathe and tell us how it feels.

Client standing and testing the change after assisted stretching 03

You stand up and feel it

We recheck the same movements from the start so you can feel the difference rather than take our word for it.

What Tightens Up On You?

Pick an area and see what is really causing it.

Hip flexors

Hours in the saddle hold your hips in a shortened position. They stop asking to lengthen, and by the third ride they lock.

Answered Before You Ask.

What is assisted stretching?
A specialist moves your body through stretches you cannot perform on your own. Because someone else is controlling the position and the pressure, your muscles relax instead of guarding, which lets you reach range you cannot get to by yourself. You lie down and do nothing except breathe.
How is this different from stretching at home?
When you stretch yourself, the muscle you are trying to lengthen is also the one holding you in position, so it never fully lets go. A specialist removes that job from you. They also apply timed pressure and release patterns that work with your stretch reflex rather than against it.
Does it hurt?
It should feel like a strong, satisfying stretch, never sharp pain. Your specialist works to your edge and stays in constant conversation with you. Tell them to back off and they back off immediately.
How long is a session?
A full-body session runs about 45 minutes inside a 60-minute visit. If you are targeting one area we can do that in less and combine it with focal vibration, manual therapy or the AlterG in the same appointment.
Will I feel it the same day?
Most people stand up feeling looser and more upright straight away. How long it holds depends on what caused the tightness, which is why we usually recommend a rhythm rather than a one-off.
How often should I come?
Once or twice a week while you are opening things up, then less often to maintain it. Riders in competition season often keep a weekly slot through the circuit.
What do I wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in. Nothing restrictive at the waist or knees. You stay fully clothed throughout.
Do I need to be flexible already?
No. The people who benefit most are usually the least flexible. We start where your body is, not where a chart says it should be.
Is this the same as a massage?
No. A massage works on the tissue while you stay still. Assisted stretching moves your joints through range while a specialist controls the position. The goal is more range, not just relaxed muscle.
Can I do this after an injury or surgery?
Often yes, and it is a common part of getting back to normal movement. If you are recovering from surgery we do recommend clearing new activity with your surgeon first, and we will work around any restriction they give you.
Can you do this at my barn?
Yes. Assisted stretching needs very little equipment, so we can work inside our air-conditioned mobile unit or wherever suits you at your location. We serve Marion County and cities within 20 miles of the World Equestrian Center.
How much does it cost?
A full session is $250 for 60 minutes, and new members get their first one at half price, $125. Here is the part worth understanding: you are paying for the session, not the service. Most clients stack two or three things into the same hour, so stretching plus hands-on work plus time on the AlterG costs the same as stretching alone. Memberships bring the per-session rate down further and include exclusive content and services.

One Session Tells You Everything.

$125 for your first session. Lie down, let someone else do the work, and stand up different.
